Into the Valley’s unique luxury self-catering cabin is located amid the nature, peace and exceptional beauty of the Teign valley on the edge of Dartmoor. All the creature comforts you need on holiday are here – your own deck for wildlife- watching and star-gazing and ample log supply for your wood-burning stove inside. A sumptuous king-size bed and crisp bedlinen. A kitchen complete with cooker and gas hob. Compact shower room with monsoon shower and compost loo. Sitting and dining area in the open-plan living and sleeping space with books and games to while away the nights when weather prevents star-gazing from your terrace. There is no light pollution here … so watching the night sky is a uniquely rewarding experience. As is the chance to reconnect with nature, and for wild swimming in the fresh, clear River Teign which flows by at the bottom of ‘your’ field.

At Weir Mill
Go wild swimming or explore the two tree and river houses at Weir Mill. There’s also single bank fishing.
Places to Visit
Castle Drogo – National Trust castle to explore; walk around the beautiful grounds and surrounding woods teeming with wildlife. You can also swim in the ‘salmon leap’ below the castle.

By public transport: The nearest train station is Exeter, 11 miles away.
The nearest bus station is Cheriton Bishop, 2.3 miles away.
Take the A30 towards Okehampton (from North) or towards Exeter (from South). Turn off at Cheriton Bishop and head into the village. Take the second left, signposted Woodbrooke. Continue for 3 miles until you reach a T-junction. Here go left, then immediately right down Weir Mill drive.
